Please forgive Melaye, Adeyemi begs Bello
Please forgive Melaye, Adeyemi begs Bello

Is the rift between Kogi Governor, Yahaya Bello and Dino Melaye on the way to being resolved?

Smart Adeyemi is confident he could resolve the crisis between the two. Adeyemi who was succeeded by Melaye at the Senate has urged Bello to temper justice with mercy and forgive the Senator.

Adeyemi made the plea in Lokoja, when he paid a courtesy call on the governor at Government House. He said he was in Kogi to see things for himself as against the insinuation that nothing was working there, and attested to projects embarked upon by the Yahaya Bello administration.

Adeyemi pointed out that joining issues with Melaye at a time when reasonable projects are going on in the state, is unnecessary.

Bello and Melaye have not been in good relationship over issues pertaining to individual political interests.
