Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed said President Muhammadu Buhari is in “very competent hands” in London.
The President had left Nigeria for the UK on May 7 following growing fears by the public over his health.
The Presidency also issued a statement saying the President who had earlier spent 49 days in London, returned there for medical follow-up.
Speaking with State House correspondents after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting on Wednesday, Mohammed said there should be no cause for alarm over Buhari’s health.
“Once again, i want to make myself very clear on the issue of Mr President. He is in very competent hands and there is no cause for alarm,” he said.
Mohammed also revealed that all the ministers are working with Udoma Udo-Udoma, their colleague in the Ministry of Budget and National planning, to reconcile the 2017 Budget.
