Nigerians have been told not to worry over the state of health of President Muhammadu Buhari as he is “perfectly okay.”
Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed gave the assurance while allaying fears raised over the condition of the President’s voice in his broadcast to Nigerians on Monday morning.
The Minister expressed dismay at what he called the failure of the media over silence on critics of the President’s health especially Femi Fani-Kayode and Ekiti Governor, Ayo Fayose.
“I am particularly not happy about the failure of the mainstream media in tackling Fani-Kayode and Fayose who have repeatedly castigated the President on his state of health.
"There is nothing absolutely wrong with the voice of the President as heard on the broadcast this morning, he is perfectly okay, " said the Minister.
Nigerians who spoke to www.thenewsroom.ng at the weekend, express worries over Buhari’s health even as he arrived from a successful medical vacation in London on Saturday.
