The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, John Odigie-Oyegun, has urged APC governors to emulate the Zamfara government in the execution of developmental projects.
Odigie-Oyegun made the call on Saturday while inaugurating Semi-Urban Water Scheme Projects in Dauran and Kanwa communities in Zurmi Local Government Areas of the state.
“I want to use this opportunity to call on other APC governors to emulate Zamfara state government in providing social amenities to citizens,“ he said
The event was part of activities to mark the sixth anniversary of Governor Abdul’aziz Yari administration in the state.
Odigie-Oyegun said what Zamfara state government was doing to transform rural communities deserved commendation.
“Apart from Semi-Urban water scheme projects in Dauran an Kanwa communities and hospital projects in Moriki town we are commissioning today, i have seen good roads and large hectares of arable land with people cultivating rice and other crops.
“I must commend Governor Yari for executing these projects especially the way they will d touch the lives of people at the grassroots.
“What I have seen today is the demonstration of the manifesto of our great party, the APC,” he said
According to him, the APC means good for Nigerians, adding, “these projects executed by Governor Yari showed that the APC leadership in the country is making progress in its mission to move the country forward.
