Osinbajo's visit, common good unite two political sworn enemies in Rivers
What has not been seen for a very long time in Rivers politics, was made possible Thursday when the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo visited the state to commission vital projects.
The visit brought together two die hard political enemies, Governor Nyesom Wike and Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi for a common good as the Acting President commissions a world-class fertilizer plant at Indorama, Eleme Petrochemicals Limited in Eleme LGA of the state.
Depending on the side of political divide, Wike and Amaechi have been accused of being behind the repeated violence dominating Rivers politics.
However, it is left to be seen if this rare meeting, will bring an end to the bitter rivalry between the once best of friends and colleagues. Time will tell.
