As voters turned out in large numbers to cast their ballots in the Osun State governorship election, the Aged refused to be left out of the action.
In Ede, the Elders said they arrived at polling centres as early as 6 a.m. One of them, seventy-six-year-old Buhari Owolabi said he would wait as long as necessary to exercise his franchise, while Jimoh Babatunde who travelled from Niger State to participate in the exercise, also expressed the same position.
Their turnout reflects determination to make their voices heard.
